The boat is now out of the water and on the hard at Catawba Moorings. This will be the last time and fifth time I have lowered the price. This time from $17000 to $16500. I will not begoing any lower.
I am taking a beating at this price. I paid $20,000 two years ago. The boat is a
28 foot 1985 Carver Voyager in excellent condition. We are anxious to sell.
The Carver 28 is a great family boat. The boat was surveyed in July of 2011 and the boat was found to be in excellent condition. Compression checks were performed on both engines and all cylinders were excellent. The cylinder readings ranged from 146 to 150.

Engines: Twin Mercury V8 inboards with Walker Vee-drives. The engines are each 230 Horse Power with a displacement of 305 CID. Engine control located on fly bridge and main salon.
The boat is equipped with a complete set of canvas with bimini tops for both the fly bridge and the aft deck. There is also a canvas cover for the fly bridge when not in use. All the canvas is in excellent condition.

This year all of the teak was replaced with a maintenance free teak called Plasteak.
The boat is currently in the water and can be seen at Parcel Post Marina Condominium, Slip #43. I will be taking the boat our of the water at the end of Sept.
